2009 Splawn Quickrod

Overview

I acquired this amp inexpensively online, and it shares the same circuit as my 2008 QuickRod, which I still have. I never particularly loved the aesthetics of this one, and when I put it up for sale I received a trade offer for a Mesa Triple Rectifier 3 channel head. I’ve wanted a Rectifier for years, so I made the trade, which I do not regret at all - if anything, it started a slippery slope of collecting Mesas, and now I have four Rectifiers… and a Stiletto. Oops!

The only difference between the two is that this amp was sent back to Scott Splawn at some point to have a master volume control added to the effects loop, which makes it more manageable to use at low volume.
