1994 Jackson USA Flamed Dinky

Details

This model comes from Jackson’s “Players Choice Series,” where it is technically called a “PCS Flamed Dinky.” It’s a USA made Jackson similar to the top of the line USA DK1 Dinky, and not to be confused with the same-year MIJ Dinky XL with its flamed maple top, this one has the entire body made from matched flamed maple. Of course, the all maple body makes it quite heavy and bright sounding acoustically. The neck is 24 frets, fully bound including the headstock, made from quartersawn maple with an ebony fretboard and the classic “sharkfin” inlays. The bridge is a German made Schaller JT-590, and stock pickups would’ve been the J100VS single coils and a Bill Lawrence L500XL, which is sadly missing.

This guitar had a chipped headstock that damaged the binding on the lower side of the headstock, which I had professionally repaired and repainted.
