1983 Kramer Pacer Imperial

Details

About 15 years ago, I saw one of these in a store, a Pacer Deluxe in this color “Emerald,” and was blown away. At the time, I was mostly interested in the pointy black headstock guitars, and it was way out of my price range anyway, but it left an impression. So when this was listed for sale over on the Kramer forum, I had to have it - even though it meant shipping it all the way from South Korea!

Luckily, the seller was excellent, priced fairly especially considering the shipping, and arrived well packed and in great condition. The finish is truly stunning, with a deep green color and beautiful grain. The neck is the usual high quality ESP-made beak neck, with a rosewood skunk stripe and ultra glossy lacquered finish. This is a true original example, with stock Schaller pickups, a German Floyd Rose bridge, and West German made Schaller 135° M6 tuners. Definitely one I’m happy to have in the collection.
