1983 Kramer Pacer Imperial

Details

This exceptional guitar has a bare/oil finished neck, a custom option in 1983 and also the same neck duplicated for the 2008 USA Gibson/MusicYo Pacer Reissues. This neck feels fantastic - I can see why players like Eddie Van Halen fell in love with these and used them as platforms to customize to their liking. This particular example is in great condition with a beautiful teal metallic finish which has a very nice fade effect. Depending on the angle of the light, I see purple and blue strongly, but faced with direct light it’s very much a greenish color.

Pickups are factory Schaller’s, and it has Schaller tuners as well. The bridge is a chrome Original Floyd Rose, top mounted.

There isn’t much else to say about this guitar - it’s relatively simple but wow, it really rips. This is one of my favorite players and the neck just knocks it out of the park. I’m also a fan of these stock Schaller pickups, they sound great and are higher output than ~8k ohms would lead you to believe. It’s also quite heavy, I’m not sure if this is a maple body but that seems plausible.
